When to Select Calcium
Calcium stearate formulations act as hard boundary lubricants with high melting points (140°Cā160°C). Ideal for:
- ā Mechanically descaled or pickled wire rods
- ā High-pressure breakdown dies (first passes)
- ā Low and medium carbon steel, MS & binding wire
- ā Operations requiring thick residual protective films
When to Select Sodium
Sodium stearate provides superior lubricity at higher drawing velocities (12ā25 m/s) with exceptional cleanliness:

Our standard bulk commercial MOQ starts at 500 KG to 1 Metric Ton (supplied in 50 KG HDPE bags). However, for new wire drawing mills conducting machine qualification trials, we provide 1ā2 KG trial sample kits.
How does CU-56 copper wire drawing oil prevent staining?
CU-56 contains specialized oxidation inhibitors and copper passivators that prevent the formation of dark copper oxides even under high interfacial temperatures. It burns completely clean in inline bright annealing tubes.
Can you formulate custom mesh sizes or lime-to-soap ratios?
Yes. As a primary manufacturer, we can adjust particle size (mesh distribution) and soap-to-carrier ratios depending on whether your plant runs mechanical descaling, acid pickling, or borax coating.
